Model Bella Hadid had a custom-made garment created for her live on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week on Friday (September 30).

Video shows the American runway star walking onto the catwalk naked, except for wearing nude underwear and covering her modesty, while a team from Fabrican sprayed on her body their white-coloured, spray-on fabric product to form a white slip dress at the finale of the Coperni show.

Coperni cofounders Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant told British Vogue fashion magazine they wanted to "celebrate women’s silhouettes" and had "dedicated the moment" to Dr Manel Torres, managing director of Fabrican Ltd and inventor of the spray-on fabric, as they admire what he and his team does.

After spraying on the delicate-looking fabric at the show held in the Salle des Textiles at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, Hadid's statement gown was adjusted at the shoulder and a split cut in the skirt for final effect.

The rest of the Coperni spring/summer 2023 collection showed off garments using "holographic floral prints bonded onto neoprene dresses and jackets, or slinky slip dresses where vertical panels of fabric are held together with metallic ringlets," according to the fashion bible.
