Mit dem Wave Lightning Neo 2 hat Mizuno ein neues Elite-Modell der Kategorie "Speed" auf den Markt gebracht. Der Volleyballschuh kombiniert die großartigen Eigenschaften des Wave Lightning Z7 mit einem neuen Obermaterial.

Die dynamische Sohle enthält das Material MIZUNO ENERZY CORE, welches durch eine extrem hohe Energierückgewinnung besticht. Dadurch werden deine Sprünge optimal unterstützt, die du dank der bewährten Mizuno Wave Technologie in der Dämpfung dann wieder sicher landest.

Brandneu ist auch das Obermaterial: Ein Knit-Upper legt sich wie eine zweite Haut um deinen Fuß. Dadurch wird der Schuh insgesamt besonders leicht (285g bei Größe 43) und sehr angenehm zu tragen.

Es gibt keine klassische Schuhzunge, sondern eine Sockenkonstruktion, die den konfortablen Sitz des Schuhs unterstützt. Im Vergleich zum Vorgängermodell, dem Wave Lightning NEO, ist die Sockenkonstruktion etwas flacher und weiter geworden, damit der Einstieg in den Schuh etwas leichter fällt. Da das Obermaterial sehr eng am Fuß anliegen soll, um maximalen Speed zu ermöglichen, ist der Einstieg in den Schuh jedoch immer noch relativ eng. Zwei lange Laschen helfen dir beim Anziehen.

Möchtest du den Mizuno Wave Lightning Neo 2 jedoch mit Knöchelbandagen tragen, solltest du den Schuh eine Nummer größer bestellen.

Die Passform des Volleyballschuhs ist insgesamt normal bis eher schmal. Der Fersenbereich ist etwas weiter ausgewölbt und im Upper etwas stabiler. Zwei Polsterkissen unterstützen in diesem Bereich von innen.

With the Wave Lightning Neo 2, Mizuno has launched a new elite model in the "Speed" category. The volleyball shoe combines the great features of the Wave Lightning Z7 with a new upper.

The dynamic sole contains the material MIZUNO ENERZY CORE, which impresses with its extremely high energy recovery. This optimally supports your jumps, which you then land safely again thanks to the proven Mizuno Wave technology in the cushioning.

The upper is also brand new: a knit upper wraps around your foot like a second skin. This makes the shoe particularly light overall (285g for size 43) and very comfortable to wear.

There is no classic shoe tongue, but a sock construction that supports the comfortable fit of the shoe. Compared to the previous model, the Wave Lightning NEO, the sock construction has become a little flatter and wider, making it easier to get into the shoe. Since the upper is supposed to fit very snugly on the foot to enable maximum speed, the entry into the shoe is still relatively tight. Two long straps help you get dressed.

However, if you want to wear the Mizuno Wave Lightning Neo 2 with ankle bandages, you should order the shoe one size larger.

The fit of the volleyball shoe is normal to rather narrow overall. The heel area is slightly more arched and the upper is a bit more stable. Two upholstered cushions support this area from the inside.
