Princess Diana's favourite piece of jewellery. On her wedding day to Prince Charles, Diana received a gift from the Queen's mother, a sapphire brooch framed with diamonds. Several times she appeared in it for its intended purpose. But since she was not very fond of brooches, she asked the jewellers to alter it into a choker with pearls. For the first time in this choker Diana appeared in 1985 during a visit to the United States. Later Diana wore the jewellery many times. And it was with it that she completed her famous revenge dress in 1994. And in 1996 she wore it to the Met Gala. After Diana's death, the choker did not appear in public. The brooch was presented personally to the princess, so it did not return to the royal treasury. Perhaps the jewel went to William or Harry and one day we will be able to see the jewel on their wives again.
