We Didn't Expect This! (Driving Through the USA to the Mexico Border with a Dog)

Driving from Canada to Mexico through the entire USA is a big task! In today's video, we take our dog through the United States to get to the Mexican border. We have plans to drive all the way from Canada to Panama with our dog Evie and our old Toyota Rav4, and this is the part of the trip where we road trip through the US! In today's video, we visit some of the USA's most iconic national parks. Our first stop is Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah, which blows us away. We hadn't planned out a whole lot of this journey through the USA, but we are so glad we made this stop! Not only Bryce Canyon National Park absolutely stunning, but the drive South through Utah is one of the best we've ever done. Driving through Utah was better than we ever imagined, and we are feeling so lucky that this is the fastest way from our hometown to Mexico!

After Bryce Canyon, we visit the famous Grand Canyon National Park. The Grand Canyon is everything we hoped it would be. Evie (our dog) loved it, but I think that was mostly because we had treats out to do some training with her. We have learned that National Parks in the United States aren't as dog-friendly as we are used to in Canada, which has made our visits to the parks a bit tricky, but still doable! It's pretty amazing that our dog can visit the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon in the first place, so we won't be complaining!

After visiting the national parks and traveling a bit slower to fit in these stops on the road trip, it was time to really hit the pavement and get to the Mexican border. Our chosen border crossing was Nogales, Arizona, BUT to see the border crossing, you'll have to tune in to next week's video!
